A Message from Alicia Visini
– Owner of SALT
At SALT, our name stands for Strengthen, Align, Lengthen, and Tone, embodying the core principles of our practice. Yet, for me, SALT represents far more—it's where passion for movement is ignited, offering everyone the opportunity to explore their untapped potential.
My connection with Pilates spans over two decades, deeply rooted in both personal experience and professional practice. Initially, it was part of my routine as a professional dancer, but it became my lifeline during my rehabilitation from a pelvis injury in 2013. That transformative period highlighted the power of Pilates not just in physical healing, but as a holistic form of wellness. This led to acquiring qualifications in Pilates and fitness, intensifying my commitment to sharing this practice.
Drawing on my extensive experience in clinical recovery, injury prevention, and leading clients through to peak performance, SALT stands ready to welcome you, no matter your starting point. We've formed a well-equipped, supportive space where people at any stage of their fitness journey can explore the myriad benefits of movement.
So SALT is more than just a studio—it's a community united by a shared love for Pilates, where every member is inspired to move, feel good, and leave feeling even better.
I look forward to welcoming you here and joining you on your Pilates journey.
Warmly,
Alicia
